I have to start today's post by going back to last night. The rain woke us at 2:00 am as it pelted the top of the RV. The sound was so loud there was no going back to sleep. And then the thunder and lightening and wind started. I am happy to report that no damage was done and the wind didn't move it at all. Unfortunately, tonight we're expecting another storm.
Due to the rain we slept in and didn't head out until about 11:00 am. Nothing remarkable to stop and look at so we just headed to our destination. The rain continued for most of our drive but it was sunny when we arrived at our stopping place for tonight. We're staying at a place called Equine Meadows which was a boarding and riding ranch that is now a wildlife preserve. This is our view for the night.
One other thing, check out the speed limit on this picture of our navigation screen. Never have I been on a highway where the speed limit was 80MPH.

Heather, thanks for your note. I have been wondering if anyone is interested other than my family.
You guys are doing so well with the blog. I love reading about your adventures and seeing all the sites. Keep it coming. I wish you both safe travels.
