Day 2 - Delmar, MD

Today’s drive was much more pleasant than yesterday. Midday for 31/2 hours was perfect. We stopped in Delmar, MD at Woodlawn Campground.  The best part of this stop is Lisa Mae and Ian that came from Arnold, MD to spend the night with us. Dinner was at The Old Mill Crab House.  Tables are covered with heavy brown paper and crabs come with a mallet to get into the shells.  It was dinner and entertainment all in one.

Tomorrow Doug and Ian participate in the annual Sea Gull Century at Salisbury University: a 100 mile bike ride. The profits from this ride go to non-profit organizations such as local fire departments, EMT’s and Big Brother Big Sisters. Lisa Mae and I will wait for them by playing Scrabble at the picnic table!
