Today’s travels took us across most of Ohio. Ohio is very flat compared to the hills of Pennsylvania. Every where you look it’s just endless fields of crops. Mostly soybean and corn.
Once in Indiana, we were in the land of the Amish. Which is strange because Ohio has the largest population of Amish in the world. Horse and buggy and cars share the roads here. Our trip to Elkhart is for some needed repairs of our NEW RV. UGH! The factories are only open 6am to 2:30pm because most of the workers are Amish and need to get home to tend to their farms. Also, because there is no air conditioning in the factories and it gets too hot in the afternoon.
We need to have the RV at the customer service center at 6am on Wednesday. We’re not sure how long they will need it and until they’re done, we’re hold up in a La Quinta. Another UGH!

I hope the issue with the RV isn't too serious and I hope you don't get held up for very long.
Initially the trip was to have our refrigerator swapped out. It kept blowing the fuse. But of course once we were on the road it was fine. Other things like an alarm going off for no reason, a drain on the battery for no reason and the first day we got it I broke a handle on one of the windows. I now know how to open them. These things are all normal for a new RV and we’re glad to have them taken care of before we continue.
Just catching up with you guys. Sorry to hear about the RV issues, the last thing you need to happen. It's amazing what you learn when traveling through different states. You realize not everywhere is the same as the uptight New England states. Hope things get fixed quickly.
What's the trouble with the RV? Sorry you're having problems.
